Comments: I didn't pay so much attention to my outfit today 'cause I just went to the UFF. It was a nice warm morning and I wanted to wear a comfy outfit with something edgy. This was first time when I wore this black dress. :) Blah, Nothing much to say... :D

Charity shopping ! OH GOODY ! ^^

Today I went to the UFF. It's a finnish second hand shop where you can buy recycled clothes and the money will be used in helping for example children in Africa. The UFF sales were over and today the new collection arrived. The "normal" people can get in at 10 am but the "immortal" people (those who have the loyal customer card) can get in at 9 am ! haha ! So, at 9 am I was at the door of the UFF. I made some good finds:

This electric violet 80's tunique with golden buttons just caught my eye ! The red butterfly patella belt has a little amor in the middle.

I've been looking for a 70's hippy skirt for a LONG time and now... yippee ! I found it ! I allso found this brown leather belt which matches with the skirt. In the pic is allso a black 80's belt.

Well hello Dr. Denim !

Haha, today I felt so so lucky ! At last I bought the trousers of my dreams ! Dr. Denims' black skinny trousers. I had watched them so long and finally I made my decision to buy them. :) So, here they are !

Heroin chic style.

Hey, Here's some information 'bout the new heroin chic style trend. I've really fallen in love with it ! :>

FROM WIKIPEDIA:

Heroin chic, characterized by pale skin, dark circles underneath the eyes, and jutting bones, was a look popularized in mid-1990s fashion. This waifish, emaciated, and drug-addicted look was popular in the fashion world and was the basis of the 1993 advertising campaign of Calvin Klein featuring Kate Moss. Film director and actor Vincent Gallo contributed to the development of this image through his Calvin Klein fashion shoots.
Heroin chic fashion drew much criticism, especially from anti-drug groups. Fashion designers, models such as Kate Moss and Jaime King, and movies such as Trainspotting were blamed for glamorizing heroin use. Then-president Clinton condemned the heroin chic look. Other commentators denied that fashion images made drug use itself more attractive. "There is no reason to expect that people attracted to the look promoted by Calvin Klein and other advertisers...will also be attracted to heroin, any more than suburban teen-agers who wear baggy pants and backward caps will end up shooting people from moving cars," wrote Jacob Sullum in Reason Magazine.
The trend eventually faded, perhaps in part due to the overdose death of a prominent fashion photographer of the genre, David Sorrenti.[4]
The term "heroin chic" has also been used retroactively to describe the image of some 1970s bands in the New York City protopunk movement, such as The Velvet Underground, or the bands that these groups would later influence, such as The Psychedelic Furs.

Comments: Here's my new beautiful "one side"-dress from Mango ! I love it. It's 100 % polyamid and it feels amazing on ! That day we went to the city center with my sister. We wanted to find two cute charms for us because soon I will move to paris and so we decided to buy something to not forget each others. It was going to be a long day for me because there was other things to do in the city center for me like: to buy a new suitcase, to get a new ISIC card... etc. I wanted to wear a comfy outfit. I have fallen in love with this new heroin chic style (for example Cory Kennedy). And of course I wore my RayBans with this outfit.. perfect. ;)

Wearing: My new geometric satin empire dress from Zara, leggings from Paris, self customised denim jacket, pearls, leather pumps from Dinsko, bow hair band and red patent bag are second hand.

Inspired by: Nothing special. I was in a hurry again. :DD

Comments: It was time for me to meet my two friends. We haven't seen each others for a long time. First we were going to have cup of coffees at the terrace of Lasipalatsi and then we had planned to go to the Bar fly night club - just for a little visite. I wanted to look simple but stylish. I didn't have enough time to think about my outfit so I planned to wear my new geometric satin dress from Zara... I had bought it for my cousins' wedding... But now it was an emergency situation ! I had to wear it allready now 'cause I didn't have anything else to wear ! Yeah, I know... Not a good excuse. :D But I wore it with carefullness... I didn't want to ruin it before wedding ! And it was worth it... I did get lots of attention at bar fly night club with my silky sleek hair do with bow hair band and my new satin dress. I enjoyed and I'm sure that my dress enjoyed too. ;D

It's goin' to be a CHIC wedding !

Comments: This dazzling vintage dress is one of my treasures. I love it because of its angel sleeves and galaxy style. I haven't woren this dress for a long time and I kind of found it again from my closets. It was a chilly day, so I wanted to wear dark colours. I was inspired by K. Knightleys london city style - bohemian, chic and dark colours. I'm waiting for autumn to come !

Comments: Yeah, I was in a hurry. It was time for me and my mom to do our shopping trip. So I just put something on. Messy hair, RayBans, little shorts, cowboy hat... Grunge and little bit thar heroic girl style ? Don't you think ? I had watched mary-kates and ashleys pics from their style and fallen in love with their straw cowboy hats. Then I realized that my parents had a similar one and they didn't use it... so so lucky me ! :>

I've fallen in love with these new Marc Jacobs spring 2007 summer caps ! Don't forget to wear this cap with a scarf hiding your hair. Über chic !
